Brighton’s LOOP festival has confirmed an exclusive performance by electronic genius Matthew Herbert.
Set on the south coast, LOOP is one of the UK’s foremost electronic festivals. Using multiple venues throughout Brighton, the event contains some very special performances.
The latest act confirmed for the festival is electronic guru Matthew Herbert. A prolific producer and remixer, Herbert will appear with his Big Band – the latest unexpected move from the artist.
Recording under his own name as well as Doctor Rockit, Wishmountain, Radio Boy and others Herbert’s new album ‘There’s Me And There’s You’ blends jazz rhythms with an outstanding array of samples.
Matthew Herbert will launch this year’s event with a performance at the Brighton Dome on Friday 10th July.
Joining Matthew Herbert at LOOP this summer is some of electronic musics more innovative acts. Folktronica group Tunng will appear, alongside Plugs, Casiokids, James Yuill and many more.
Comprising live music, sound installations and visual art, LOOP is one of Britain’s most unique festivals.
LOOP takes place in Brighton between July 10th -12th.
