Loney Dear has announced plans for a one off Bush Hall show early next year.
Real name Emil Svanängen, bedroom boffin Loney Dear makes uniquely affecting chamber pop. Like Brian Wilson let loose with a laptop, the Swedish producer plays everything on new album ‘Hall Music’ with dramatic results.
Recently playing shows in his homeland with a chamber orchestra, Loney Dear decided to keep it simple for a pair of London dates.
Long since sold out, the songsmith played St Pancras Church in London recently. Entirely alone onstage, Loney Dear decided to build up each song piece by piece, layer by layer until the full track emerged.
You may well have missed out, and if that’s the case don’t worry – he’ll be back soon. Loney Dear is set to play London’s Bush Hall on February 20th, with tickets for the one off show set to go on sale shortly.
