The line up for this year’s London Freeze has expanded with Calvin Harris, Eagles Of Death Metal and more confirmed to appear.
The festival season is now spread across the entire calendar year. No longer confined to the sun and heat of the summer months, music fans can gorge themselves on some prime acts throughout the snows of winter.
Taking over Battersea Power Station, London Freeze is a spectacular new event that promises to bring some fun to the winter months. The biggest winter sports and music festival in Britain, London Freeze has expanded its bill yet again.
Already confirmed for the event are Mercury nominees Friendly Fires and rave veterans Orbital. The Hartnoll brothers have been a permanent fixture on the festival circuit since announcing their re-union, playing a sensational set at RockNess.
The duo are set to headline London Freeze, with the set being a rare live appearance in London from Orbital.
In a new announcement the Eagles Of Death Metal have been added to the bill. London Freeze aims to be as eclectic as possible, with the American rockers being a famously raucous live act.
Queens Of The Stone Age side project Sweethead are due to perform, playing one of their first UK live dates.
Scottish dance don Calvin Harris is also set to drop by, having scored one of the summer’s biggest hits in ‘I’m Not Alone’. Can he repeat the feat in the winter months? With his achingly catchy synth pop few would bet against him.
London Freeze is set to take place between October 31st – November 1st.
