Liverpool Sound City has expanded, with Ghostpoet, Slow Club, Niki & The Dove and more being added to the bill.
Running across May 17th – 19th, Liverpool Sound City encompasses virtually the whole of the city. Using several venues, the three day event combines live music with spoken word discussion panels and more.
The line up is beginning to firm up, with Ghostpoet set to take part. Releasing his debut album last year, the acclaimed hip hop artist has spent almost 12 months on the road.
Firming up his live routine, the rapper has already arranged a full Spring tour. Set to appear Liverpool Sound City, Ghostpoet will be joined by newcomers such as The Jezabels, (ALT-J) and more.
Elsewhere, BBC Sound of 2012 poll winner Michael Kiwanuka is due to perform at the festival. The fast rising London singer is preparing to release his debut album this Spring, which will no doubt lay waste to the charts.
An assured live performer, Michael Kiwanuka will drop by Liverpool Sound City for a no doubt special set. Part of a new wave of additions to the line up, the singer will be joined by Mystery Jets, Alkaline Trio, Slow Club, Willy Mason and more.
Early Bird Sound City wristbands and delegate passes are on sale now, but run out at mid-day on February 27th.
Liverpool Sound City runs between May 17th – 19th.
