Over the last year, we've been rolling into Carnaby Street for a series of parties at Cheap Monday’s flagship store, inviting the likes of Sundara Karma, Dead! and Tall Ships to play.
Last week, we continued our run of putting on some of the most-hyped names in music at the moment, by welcoming Bedford songbird Tom Grennan and Blackpool rock outfit Darlia to the event.
Taking to the shop floor first, Tom Grennan — guitar in hand — treated a rammed store to cuts from his latest EP, ‘Release The Brakes’. The Chase & Status crooner proved that he can hold his own, with heartfelt tune ‘Praying’ going down particularly well.
Darlia were up next, a slightly louder act who made the Swedish clothing brand's rails rattle, rolling through epic, surging tunes ‘Queen of Hearts’ and ‘Sanctuary’, as well as dramatic new single 'Ballad Of Black And White'.
The evening was kept well oiled with complimentary refreshments from sponsors BrewDog and evian, while guests went home with Cheap Monday tote bags containing an exclusive Clash x Cheap Monday T-shirt and the latest issue of the magazine.

But that's not all! Clash, Cheap Monday and BrewDog have combined to offer one lucky winner a pair of tickets to this year's Blissfields Festival (6th – 8th July) — where the line up boasts Metronomy, The Cinematic Orchestra, The Japanese House, and our good friend Tom Grennan, along with a Cheap Monday goodie bag including a copy of Clash magazine and a Faustine Steinmetz T-shirt, plus a Cheap Monday beach towel and pins. The contest runs until 30th May, and winners will be notified within 48 hours. Alternatively, buy tickets for Blissfields now if you can't take the suspense!
