Amber Bain has come a long way.
The songwriter works under the name of The Japanese House, starting the year as one of a clutch of young hopefuls eager to make a name for themselves.
New EP 'Swim Against The Tide' drops on Friday (November 11th) and it's a startlingly fresh-sounding work, blessed with blossoming maturity and hooks, hooks, glorious hooks.
To celebrate, The Japanese House played her biggest headline show yet earlier this week, striding onstage at London's renowned Heaven venue.
