Lil Yachty thrives on the unexpected. Take last year’s album ‘Let’s Start Here’ – a huge deviation from the norm, it found him embracing the psychedelic tapestries of Tame Impala, resulting in a truly singular document of his unfettered creativity.
A talent unbound, Lil Yachty likes to keep fans guessing. Hitting the road, he brought his current international tour to London last night – April 29th – blending deep cuts from his catalogue with Yachty’s current brand of psych-infused rap.
It was a stellar performance, a bravura display that highlighted the key recurring aspects of his work. With Jean Dawson in support, the stage was set for one of the best rap shows to hit London thus far in 2024.
