A storming gig from the legendary group...

Depeche Mode are in town.

The band announced a string of European shows earlier this year, and included a huge date in East London.

Performing at the London Stadium - built during the Olympics, doncha know - the group's epic live show was probably heard close to their home town of Basildon.

Supported by The Horrors, the day opened in blazing sunshine and served as a reminder of the true breadth of Depeche Mode's catalogue.

They even threw in a David Bowie cover...
