Connect Festival caught our hearts during its first instalment, taking place in the grounds of Inveraray castle. Resurrected last year, it relocated to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre Showgrounds, attracting an eclectic bill peppered with Clash favourites.
This summer Connect Festival returned, bigger and better than ever. The highlights were almost too many to mention – a rare boygenius set on Scottish soil, a home city sojourn from the electrifying Young Fathers, steamy performance from Confidence Man, and a whole lot more besides.
Matching big names against newcomers Connect brought together the likes of Biig Piig, RAYE, Loyle Carner, and many, many more.
