Foul mouthed singer Lily Allen have been added to the bill for this year’s instalment of Benacassim.
Set on the Spanish coastline, Benacassim is a world away from the fields of mud and water that British festivals often become. Crouched in a wonderful landscape, and with a marvellous atmosphere the event has become renowned as one of Europe’s best.
Glasvegas are among the new additions to the bill. The Scottish group released their debut album last year, gathering a large and vocal army of fans in the process.
Joining them will be foul mouthy princess of pop Lily Allen and Mystery Jets. Other new additions include TV On The Radio, whose album ‘Dear Science’ was one of the most widely acclaimed albums of last year.
Newcomers Late Of The Pier will also travel to Spain, and will be joined by Fight Like Apes and post punk legends Magazine.
Benacassim is set to celebrate its 15th birthday this year, and has gathered a host of special guests. Paul Weller is scheduled to appear, with headline performances due from The Killers, Oasis, Kings Of Leon and many more.
Benacassim takes place between July 16th – 19th.
