With Beady Eye having splintered, all eyes are on Liam Gallagher to see what the frontman will do next.
As it happens, the singer's next public performance will be for charity. The Teenage Cancer Trust have arranged an all star tribute to The Who, and Liam Gallagher will appear onstage for one song.
The event takes place at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 11th, with The Who's Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey (a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust) taking a back seat.
Other performances have been confirmed from Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Wilko Johnson, Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson, Manic Street Preachers' James Dean Bradfield, Geddy Lee of Rush, The Strypes, Brody Dalle, Tom Odell, Amy Macdonald, Andy Burrows and Rizzle Kicks.
The Who Band will feature Simon Townshend, Pino Palladino, Billy Nicholls, Frank Simes, Loren Gold, John Coury and drummer Zak Starkey – who, of course, previously played with Liam Gallagher in Oasis.
Tickets for An Evening Of Who Music In Aid Of Teenage Cancer Trust go on sale at 9am this Friday (October 31st).
