Laura Marling is set to hook up with Secret Cinema for a special event in East London.
Hosting performances across London, Secret Cinema helped to popularise the idea of immersive cinema. A new, engaging, interactive way to soak up cinema, the team have also hooked up with musicians for several one off shows.
Now Laura Marling is set to take part in a very special series of performances. Teaming up with Secret Cinema, the aim is to create a unique, immersive counterpoint to recent album 'Once I Was An Eagle'.
Described by ClashMusic scribe Gemma Hampson as "one of the folk albums of the year" the full length has won overwhelming acclaim. The performances will expand on this, with Laura Marling set to perform eight dates at venues across East London.
As yet, the full details have not been revealed although fans have been promised dancers, artists, actors, and an incredible secret location with a full live performance by Laura Marling.
Here's 'When Brave Bird Saved'.
Laura Marling x Secret Cinema events run between June 13th – 16th, and June 18th – 21st.
