Lana Del Rey For Lovebox

'Video Games' singer joins line up

American artist Lana Del Rey is the latest performer to be added to the bill for Lovebox.

Seeming to grow in size every year, Lovebox is now capable to grabbing some internationally renowned artists. Returning this summer, organisers have lined up an appearance from none other than Lana Del Rey.

The ‘Video Games’ singer found global success with her debut album, which topped the British chart in its first week of release.

With only a handful of shows under her belt – including that Saturday Night Live set – Lana Del Rey is now focussing on a slot at Lovebox. The singer joins a rapidly expanding bill, which is topped by British group Hot Chip.

Currently in the studio, Hot Chip will escape in order to headline this year’s Lovebox. The Victoria Park festival could well see the group unveil their new album, which is scheduled to be released later this year.

Elsewhere, soulful Brit Emile Sande will make an appearance while Friendly Fires, Kelis and 80s icon Holly Johnson have all been named on the bill.

Fusing live music with a wide ranging DJ line up, Lovebox have also confirmed sets from dubstep pioneer Skream, Benji B and more. The Rinse 106.8 FM Arena will hit Victoria Park this summer, with Redlight, Dread MC and much loved garage queen Ms Dynamite all set to drop by.

Pulsating Germans Booka Shade will bring their live show to the festival, while Nextmen, Blondes and more have all confirmed their involvement.

Tickets are on sale now.

Lovebox runs between June 15th – 17th.
