Returning nu rave titans Klaxons are amongst the latest additions to this summer’s EXIT festival.
Held in Serbia, EXIT is one of Europe’s most inventive festivals. Taking place in the shadow of a Medieval fortress the event regularly gathers thousands of music fans for one of the summer’s most anticipated parties.
Beginning as a protest against the the Communist regime, EXIT has grown to become a four day celebration of music and the arts.
This year the event is bigger than ever, with a host of new additions recently being confirmed. Returning nu rave titans Klaxons are set to play at the Serbian event, debuting material from their forthcoming album.
Already postponed by their label bosses, the build up to Klaxons second album has been immense. Few have heard the material, which is said to be much more ambitious and psychedelic in tone than their debut.
Joining the dance rockers at the event are reformed metal titans Faith No More. In their original incarnation the Californian rockers helped to push guitar music forwards, as well as dominating the charts.
Albums such as ‘King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime’ won critical praise, before their untimely split. Reforming last year, Faith No More are now due to play a no doubt ear bursting show at EXIT.
Other new additions include garage goth types The Horrors, while the likes of Miike Snow, Chromeo and more are also set to appear.
EXIT festival takes place between July 8th – 11th.
