Primavera Sound will welcome Kendrick Lamar, Blur, Depeche Mode, Rosalia (and more) to next year’s event.
The event returns to its Barcelona base next year, alongside a Madrid site, with a bulging line up spread across two weekends. 2022’s instalment opened to criticism from fans, but adjustments to organisation meant that the rest of Primavera Sound seemed to go ahead smoothly.
Returning in 2023, Primavera Sound will welcome a headline set from Kendrick Lamar. The rapper’s incredible live set recently touched down in the UK for a sold out arena tour, and he headlined Glastonbury this summer.

Joining K Dot at Primavera Sound are reformed Britpop legends Blur, synth-pop pioneers Depeche Mode, and Catalan mega-star Rosalia.
Elsewhere, New York freak folk gurus The Moldy Peaches will re-unite for a set at the festival, joined by FKA twigs, Skrillex, St. Vincent, Calvin Harris, and Le Tigre.
UK pop heroes Pet Shop Boys are set to perform on Primavera Sound’s free day, on the Wednesday.
Primavera Sound 2023 will be based in Barcelona and Madrid, taking place at The Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from June 1st to 3rd, and the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey in Madrid from June 8th to 10th.
In total there will be over 200 performances in each city, which will feature a “shared line-up shared 620 kilometers apart, with a few small exceptions”.
Primavera Sound runs across two weekends: June 1st – 3rd, and June 8th – 10th. Tickets will go on sale on 12pm CET this Thursday, December 1 on DICE.
