Perhaps the year's most striking live music event, the return of Kate Bush to the stage sparked a frenzy amongst fans.
The iconic singer's entire run at the Hammersmith Apollo sold out within fifteen minutes, with fans flying in to London from across the globe.
Kicking off last night (August 26th) early reports are impressive. Kate Bush opened with a flurry of greatest hits, before a short film was played featuring a stormy sea.
The singer then appeared in a flotation tank, re-creating the role of the drowned woman in the Ninth Wave song cycle from the 'Hounds Of Love' album.
With lavish stage sets and stunning lighting, the entire process is said to more resemble a conceptual art project than a standard live show.
