Leicester indie giants Kasabian are set to continue their almost non-stop touring with a UK arena tour this winter.
Kasabian are perhaps one of Britain’s hardest working bands. After playing a series of shows back in January the band have spent the bulk of the year on the road, playing a variety of different tours and festival slots.
New album ‘West Rider Pauper Asylum’ was released earlier this year, and became the group’s latest hit. Spawning the anthemic single ‘Fire’ it showed the band’s to be on top form, with Kasabian gaining hefty studio muscle.
The band played Brighton’s Great Escape earlier this year, before heading out on tour with Oasis. Performing in some of their biggest venues in a decade, the Manchester group were also joined by the likes of Twisted Wheel, The Enemy and Reverend & The Makers.
Relishing the opportunity to play to fans, Kasabian have been on sensational form recently. ClashMusic caught them rocking out in Dundee’s historic Caird Hall venue, with Kasabian eager to show off their now classic early singles.

The new tour is scheduled to take place in November this year, and sees Kasabian launch themselves into the world of arenas. However in an interview with the NME bass player Serge Pizzorno claimed that the shows would remain as intimate as possible.
“We won’t be coming out of alien pods, nothing like that going down, but I’ve read about famous Pink Floyd shows so maybe something like that,” he said.
“Nothing retro, modern in its thinking, but in my head at this point I want to have something that’s unique. We can make the arenas feel intimate because it’s so important the crowd are in the mix, they’re our orchestra!”
Kasabian are due to continue their jaunt with Oasis throughout the summer. The band are also scheduled to play a number of festivals, with the band performing at Glastonbury over the weekend.
Tickets for the upcoming Kasabian tour go on sale at 9am on Friday 3rd July.
