Kasabian For Great Escape

Festival unveils bill

Leicester giants Kasabian are set to headline this year’s instalment of The Great Escape.

As you could probably tell by the trail of carnage, Kasabian are back. Set to support Oasis on their mammoth UK stadium tour, the group have been working on new material with a new album due later this year.

The group are amongst the first wave of acts to be unveiled for Brighton’s Great Escape festival. Joining Kasabian will be acoustic balladeer Lightspeed Champion, British Sea Power and a whole lot more.

Two of America’s most insane live acts will be united at The Great Escape with Black Lips and Kentucky’s Cage The Elephant sharing the bill. Joining them will be Canada’s Holy Fuck and their feedback drenched synth chaos.

The Great Escape is one of Europe’s premiere music showcase events and has acted as a launchpad for countless careers. Taking place over three days at 34 venues, The Great Escape gathers over 300 acts for some musical mayhem.

Whether its to see your favourite band, or to discover some unknown talent The Great Escape is one of Britain’s top musical events.

The Great Escape takes place between May 14th – 16th.
