Karen Elson Tour Dates

British shows confirmed

Trans-Atlantic singer Karen Elson has confirmed a series of tour dates ahead of her debut album.

Karen Elson hails from the North of England, with the model recently confirming details of her debut album. However this isn’t no ordinary musical diversion, with the English singer having a deep history of performing.

The singer was a member of New York City-based political cabaret group The Citizens Band for six years, before deciding to work on her own material.

In recent times Elson has worked on a duet with Cat Power, before honing her own songwriting skills. The wife of Jack White, the Nashville producer helmed sessions for her debut album allowing her to find her own voice.

The resulting album ‘The Ghost Who Walks’ was recorded at Third Man Studios in Tennessee, and is an elegant and haunting salute to Americana. Deeply indebted to a stark, gothic view of country music the album has received warm reviews.

Containing twelve songs, Karen Elson wrote each of the tracks aside from a swift cover of a song originally by her Citizens Band cohort Rachelle Garniez.

Due for release on May 24th, Karen Elson is set to follow the album with a series of British tour dates. Playing just three shows across the UK, the singer will be joined by her backing band.

Opening in London on May 26th, the shows continue with dates in Manchester and Glasgow before Karen Elson heads out to Europe.

Karen Elson has confirmed the following shows:

May
26 London Lexington
27 Manchester Night & Day
28 Glasgow Arches
