Kanye West and Jay-Z have confirmed a short burst of UK shows.
‘Watch The Throne’ – as titles go, this might just suit the bombast, ego, drive and charisma that surround Kanye West and Jay-Z. Taken solely in commercial terms, the pair can dwarf almost any other hip hop artist of their generation.
Teaming up for a rap collaboration last year, ‘Watch The Throne’ spawned an epic North American tour. Now it seems that Jay-Z and Kanye West have their sights set on Europe, after announcing several new shows.
The European leg opens in London on May 20th. Set to dominate the O2 Arena, Jay-Z and Kanye West will touch down for their first joint appearance on British soil.
The shows then criss-cross the continent, with the hip hop pairing confirming shows in Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and more.
Running across May and June, the pair will return to the UK to close the tour. Hitting Manchester and Birmingham on June 11th and 13th, respectively.
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday (February 24th) at 9am. Watch the video for ‘Otis’ below and catch the full details of the tour after the jump.
