Johnny Flynn Confirms December Tour

New dates added

Johnny Flynn has confirmed a series of nationwide tour dates beginning in December.

The rise of the so-called nu-folk scene has turned Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons and more into stars. However close friend and equally talented songwriter Johnny Flynn has remained on the sidelines.

A collaborator with both acts, Johnny Flynn has received critical acclaim while being ignored by the mainstream. Signed to Transgressive, he has already released two albums of wonderful material.

Recently teaming up with Laura Marling for the single ‘The Water’ the release was a boost to his profile. Yet the duet was no publicity stunt, more the work of two artists who respect each other’s work.

Currently travelling around the United States, Johnny Flynn is enjoying renewed success across the Atlantic. Set to return to Britain shortly, the London based songwriter will end the year with a short burst of British shows.

Opening in Birmingham on December 4th, the singer will travel across the UK. Johnny Flynn has arranged shows in Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol and more with a London show due on December 10th.

Taking place at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the London show will be followed by final dates in Brighton and Exeter. Ending on December 12th, the tour ends another important year for the singer.

Tickets for the shows are on sale now.

5 Manchester Club Academy
