John Cale is set to re-visit 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' at a special show in Liverpool.
The Welsh born musician will run through the album at Liverpool Sound City on May 26th, celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release.
A one-off performance, John Cale will be joined by a host of special guests to illuminate 'The Velvet Underground & Nico'.
The Kills are set to get involved, joined by the likes of Nadine Shah, Clinic, Wild Beasts, and the Fat White Family.
John Cale says: “It’s such a privilege to have this calibre of artistry about – its not that they fit the legend, rather the legend is part of each of them. Stand back Liverpool – here we come!!”
As if that wasn't enough, John Cale will take part in a special 'in conversation' event with Danny Fields at Tim Burgess' Tim Peaks Diner.
