Jamie T's return was one of 2014's most unexpected events.
Coming in from the cold, the London artist delivered an impressive new record and played two – count 'em – nights at the enormous Alexandra Palace venue.
Now, the singer is going to attempt something a little different. Jamie T will perform an acoustic show at Hackney Empire on June 12th, with the songwriter stripping back his work.
Material from albums, EPs and rarities will be aired, with Jamie T promising something special:
“After a year of touring and playing as loud as we possibly can I wanted to try something different. I'm going to play a one-off, stripped back show at The Hackney Empire but the set list will also include songs I don't usually get a chance to play live. There will be songs from the albums and EPs, covers, as well as some unreleased songs which no one has heard before. All profits from the show will be donated to The Lullaby Trust Charity.”
Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10am this Wednesday (April 15th) before general sale follows on Friday (April 17th).
