JADE, FLO, Joy Crookes For BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend

It takes place at Sefton Park, Liverpool...

JADE will play BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

The annual pop bonanza hits Liverpool this year, running between May 23rd to 25th, with the main stage set to welcome Biffy Clyro, Blossoms, Myles Smith, and newly announced headliners Mumford & Sons.

The indie-folk Goliaths comment:

“Liverpool, we really cannot wait to see you all at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May. We’re counting this one as the start of the Summer, and that can’t come quickly enough. Big thanks to Radio 1 for having us. See you soon, Sefton Park x”

The New Music Stage features some incredible artists, including BRIT winning solo queen JADE. A CLASH cover star, JADE’s performance at the BRIT Awards was truly incredible, and we went deep with production team Black Skull on how it all came together.

Elsewhere, you can catch Nia Archives, Lola Young, Wet Leg, Confidence Man, AJ Tracey, and Tom Grennan.

Tickets for Radio 1’s Big Weekend will be available from 5pm tomorrow (Thursday 13 March) and will cost £33 (plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket). Keep listening to BBC Radio 1 and download the BBC Sounds app for more information.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend runs between May 23rd – 25th.
