Less of a question and more of a challenge, Can U Dance sees two turntable talents pair up for a series of summer shows.
Jackmaster and Oneman may well have done back to back slots before, but never on this scale. Working up an entirely new show, the DJs are set to bring Can U Dance to a select batch of festival dates this summer.
Much more than a simple joint set, Can U Dance is conceived as being something massive – truly, the next step for both artists.
Jackmaster introduces the project: "We always ended up playing together when were on the same line-up so this was just a natural progression, and a chance to do something on a festival level without sacrificing the spontaneity of our back to back sets."
Continuing, Oneman insists that the increased size of the shows will be matched by a fierce retention of their integrity. "Who says you can't you do dance music on a larger scale without soul and integrity?" he asks. "That's our aim with Can U Dance, and we're looking forward to taking it on the road."
Jackmaster and Oneman Can U Dance is set to drop past a number of festivals this summer, including two in the UK: London's Field Day and Manchester's Parklife festival.
