It’s The Leeds Festival Weather Report

The latest updates from the Met Office...

It's almost time for Reading and Leeds festival, the annual dual-site music extravaganza.

Running across the August Bank Holiday weekend, this year's line caused consternation amongst staid rockists, but delighted fans with its breadth and commitment to new music.

Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy, and Kings Of Leon will headline, with the bill boasting slots from Brockhampton, Post Malone, Wolf Alice, Panic! At The Disco, and a whole lot more.

Since the two sites have such different weather forecasts we're splitting this news item – check HERE for the Reading weather prediction…

Friday opens with highs of 15 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Office, a little cooler than the Southern site. It should remain largely dry, however, although there is a 70% chance of rain around 4pm.

Saturday rises to 17 degrees Celsius, and the Leeds site should enjoy prolonged periods of sunshine across the afternoon.

Sunday, however, finds temperatures dipping back down to 15 degrees with a high likelihood of rain in late afternoon or early evening.

Reading and Leeds festival runs between August 24th – 26th.
