Introducing… Illuminations

New London concert series

London concert series Illuminations has confirmed shows from Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, How To Dress Well and more.

London isn't exactly short of live music, but Illuminations promises something quite special. Setting up a series of shows around the capital, the organisers have gathered a select bill of guest performers. Using a variety of special venues, Illuminations is already looking fairly enticing. Lasting for only a week, organisers have confirmed one off shows from American outsider Ariel Pink, the ghostly R&B of How To Dress Well and more.

Elsewhere, cult Portland outfit Chromatics will take their distinct brand of disco-pop to this side of the Atlantic, while Planet Mu signing Ital is set to perform at a one off show in South London nightspot Corsica Studios. Cloud Nothings have delivered one of the year's finest rock records, and the American group will perform at the Village Underground in November.

Joined by some fast rising UK bands, the line up also contains Mazes and Cheetahs. 22 piece girl choir Gaggle have confirmed their involvement, tackling the 'Lysistrata' Greek myth for a unique one off performance. Check out a trailer below.
