Indietracks and Slumberland have teamed up, with the American label set to curate a stage at this summer’s event.
A seminal American indie pop institution, Slumberland have always had close ties to the UK. This summer the imprint is set to curate a stage at Indietracks, bringing some of their roster over to Derbyshire.
Running between July 6th – 8th, the festival organisers have invited Slumberland to curate an outdoor stage. The first names on the line up have now been announced, with Allo Darlin’ due to hit the Derbyshire event.
The band will be fresh from the release of their second album, set to drop on Fortuna POP! this May. Allo Darlin’ are signed to Slumberland in the States, allowing them to be pulled in for an appearance on the label’s stage.
Veronica Falls have a similar label arrangement, with the four piece also planning to perform at Indietracks. Slumberland have pulled in a few favours, with the line up for their stage containing reformed indie legends, newcomers and more from both sides of the Atlantic.
Names on the bill thus far include: The June Brides, Bart Cummings (with Pam Berry), The Birthday Kiss, Colour Me Wednesday, Orca Team, Doggy, The Hobbes Fanclub, Language of Flowers, Tender Trap, Evans the Death, Tigercats, The Sunbathers, Gold-Bears and Sea Lions.
And there’s plenty more to come…
Tickets are on sale now.
Indietracks runs between June 6th – 8th.
