Brighton Festival Reveals Bill

LOOP, the new Brighton-based festival dedicated to celebrating digital culture, has unveiled an extra special bill for this year’s event.

The festival takes place across four specially prepared areas, using the very latest in sound and visual equipment so those attending face a barrage of the clearest music and most brilliant light shows.

This year’s festival will include special performances by These New Puritans and Micachu – a fresh new 21 year old taking the industry by storm. Also on the bill are Primary One – a special brand of synth pop signed to Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound label.

Brighton’s own Midfield General will be making a special homecoming, with further performances planned from New Young Pony Club, Canadian group Holy Fuck and cockney indie troupe Peggy Sue & The Pirates.

With loads of extras, including the spin-off mini-festival Loop LATE, LOOP looks to be one of the most innovative events taking place this summer.

LOOP takes place in Victoria Gardens, Brighton on August 16th, 2008.
