The trio – Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers – are a true supergroup, sparking colossal devotion from their fans. Long-awaited debut album ‘the record’ landed earlier this year, a neat Venn diagram of the talents of three generation-defining songwriters.
boygenius touched down in the UK, playing a storming headline set at Gunnersbury Park in West London, accompanied by MUNA and ethel cain.
Setting their sights on the North of England, the three-piece took control at beautiful Halifax venue the Piece Hall, part of an incredible season of summer programming.
A remarkable show, it displayed the breathtaking passion of their fans and the unrivalled artistry of the trio behind boygenius.
