Iceland Airwaves 2024: More Names Confirmed

The Reykjavik event is getting close...

More names have been confirmed for Iceland Airwaves 2024.

The multi-venue showcase returns to downtown Reykjavik in November, boasting three days of cross-genre music and conversation.

The fourth wave of names have just been announced, including soulful multi-hyphenate Ravyn Lenae. The American songwriter touches down in Iceland for a special show, and she’s joined on the line-up by Basque-trio Merina Gris, and the genre-splicing auteur Sila Lua.

Stockholm-quartet Dina Ögon – co-signed by Tyler, the Creator – hit Iceland Airwaves, alongside homegrown talent such as Juno Paul, post-hardcore band MÍnus, Sycamore Tree, and SKRATTAR – who describe themselves as “the most dangerous pop band in Iceland”.

Alongside this, Iceland Airwaves has confirmed a number of speakers, including Red Light Management’s James Sandom, who co-founded the esteemed management company over a decade ago. Tamsin Embleton, an award-winning psychotherapist, tour health researcher and consultant will address Iceland Airwaves, while the festival also welcomes James Foley, Spotify’s current Global Editorial strategy team lead and Junia Jonsdottir, the “ultimate creative mind” behind Grammy award winning singer, Laufey.

Speaking about Airwaves’s 25th Anniversary year, Ísleifur Þórhallsson, Festival Manager for Iceland Airwaves says: “We are incredibly proud to be celebrating not only 25 years of Iceland Airwaves, but 25 years of playing a key part in the careers of some of the world’s most talented artists. Over the years, we have seen many of our Airwaves alumni grow from strength to strength, often developing into some of the industry’s most acclaimed artists. It is an honour to continue to bring new talent to Reykjavík and share our beloved Icelandic community with the world.”

Tickets are on sale now.

Iceland Airwaves runs between November 7th – 9th.
