The first names for this year’s Iceland Airwaves line-up have been confirmed.
This year represents the 25th anniversary of Iceland Airwaves, a festival that has grown to reach international prominence. A vital new music showcase it blends globally renowned names with the best of Icelandic talent, acting as a superb launchpad in the process.
Returning to the streets of Reykjavik on November 7th – 9th, Iceland Airwaves is preparing to welcome Mercury nominated Clash cover star Shygirl, enigmatic South London indie rock three-piece bar italia, and the wonderful Saya Gray.
Rave tag-team Joy (Anonymous) will appear at the Icelandic event, joined by superb producer Anish Kumar.
But that’s not all: homegrown talent will also be represented, including Icelandic trio Inspector Spacetime, hip-hop pairing Úlfur Úlfur, and Reykjavik based composer Klemens Hannigan.
