Human League Star London Show

Martyn Ware to present new show

One of the founding members of The Human League is set to present a new show containing his insights into the future of sound.

The Human League formed in mid 70s Sheffield, using primitive tape loops and synths to craft what would become some of the first electronic pop ever created in Britain.

The band would become cult heroes, releasing a number of seminal cuts before Martyn Ware left after clashing with singer Phil Oakey. Oakey would lead the band to stardom, while Ware still languishes in obscurity.

A new show ‘Future Of Sound / Future Of Light’ is set to take place in London’s Goldsmiths which will showcase Ware’s ideas on the future of sound and visual presentation.

With the internet changing the way people communicate, Martyn Ware claims to have invented a 3D soundsystem which can transform a small room into a stadium.

“This is the holy grail of audio,” Ware said regarding the soundsystem. “3D sonic imaging that challenges audiences to embrace a new take on experiencing sound.”

‘Future Of Sound / Future Of Light’ takes place in Goldsmiths, London on March 24th.
