Houghton Festival 2024: New Names Confirmed

Electronic event returns to its Norfolk site...

A slew of new names have been confirmed for this summer’s Houghton Festival.

Driven forwards by founder Craig Richards, Houghton returned last summer, it’s first post-pandemic outing. The success of that event drove the team forwards, with 2024 finding Houghton very much back to full strength.

Returning to its site in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, Houghton is set to welcome a range of debut appearances this summer. Dubstep guru Mala will appear, alongside enigmatic auteur Actress; Daniel Avery hits the festival, with other names on the bill including hi-tempo master Sherelle, Skee Mask, Or:la, Moodymann, and a live set from Alabaster de Plume.

These names will be joined by Houghton regulars, and of course the crowd – the festival’s secret ingredient.

“Every festival makes its own journey,” says founder Craig Richards “ours has been extraordinary and unique on so many levels. Two super years where we experienced a vision of the future and gained a loyal following. A subsequent 3 years of cancellation due to an unimaginable storm and Covid. We returned on a hot and dusty year, determined to re-engage with our audience and our statement. Every single step of the way we focused on belief and longevity. It made us stronger and more determined.”
