American singer Hope Sandoval has confirmed a series of British tour dates for later this Spring.
The one time lead singer with Mazzy Star, Hope Sandoval has perfected a vocal technique where less is most certainly more. When performing live the singer remains in the darkness, with her soft vocals difficult to decipher.
This veil of mystery makes Hope Sandoval the enticing performer that she is. Now working with her group The Warm Inventions, her music remains the soft, beautiful yet knowable experience it has always been.
Working with Massive Attack on their album ‘Heligoland’ the singer is now set to focus on her own material. Releasing the new album ‘Through The Devil Softly’ last year, Hope Sandoval has confirmed a host of UK tour dates.
Accompanied by My Bloody Valentine’s Colm Ó Cíosóig and Irish group Dirt Blue Jene, Hope Sandoval are due to continue their gorgeous live shows with a series of European dates.
Confirmed a number of British shows, Hope Sandoval And The Warm Inventions have been chosen to perform at All Tomorrows Parties.
The latest instalment of the Butlins event is curated by Matt Groening and already boasts performances from Spiritualized, The xx, Panda Bear and more.
In advance of the tour Hope Sandoval has recorded a spectacular video for album highlight ‘Trouble’. Taken from the new album, director Tony Moina has crafted a typically gorgeous piece of film.
