Homegame, the annual celebration of all things Fence, is set to return this Spring with another blast of musical events.
Huddled on a neglected corner of the Scottish coastline, the East Neuk of Fife has become a centre for forward thinking musicians, blending indie, folk, electronica and a whole lot more.
Centred on the Fence Collective, the area has produced such sterling talent as The Beta Band, KT Tunstall, King Cresote and many more.
In fact it is the good King himself who began the Fence project, mailing out CDRs to devoted fans. Each year the collective gathers for a weekend of music (and drinking) taking over small fishing villages and having a rare old time.
This year will be no different with performances confirmed from King Creosote, The Pictish Trail and a host of other Fence Collective members. A host of surprises have been planned, with secret gigs and special guest set to be announced on the day.
With new talent emerging all the time, looking out for lesser known Fence talents such as Onthefly or even Edinburgh’s sublime Kid Canaveral.
Organiser Pictish Trail has been busy booking acts, and told ClashMusic: “really looking forward to this – our biggest Homegame yet! We’re using more halls in the town for this one, so – despite there being more tickets on sale – there will be that same intimate Fence feel to the shows. Got some great suprises lined-up too!”
Homegame takes place in Anstruther and Cellardyke between April 17th – 19th.
