A massive new live music event has been announced for Scotland with Homecoming set to feature Snow Patrol and many more.
Homecoming is an ongoing project begun by the Scottish government. Noting that more Scottish people actually live outside of Scotland the government have organised the year of Homecoming – a series of events to entice exiles home.
The forthcoming festival is a two day event set on the glorious Ayrshire coast. Homecoming eliminates the troublesome mud of most festivals by setting the arena under cover.
On the bill for the first ever Homecoming event are a number of top Scottish acts including DJ sets from Snow Patrol, Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub and many more.
Joining the Tartan crew are Utah Saints, Babyshambles, Reverend And The Makers and much more. Aside from music the event also includes a licensed bar, comedy tent, camping store, exclusive food vendors and a fairground.
Homecoming is easy to get to from nearby Glasgow, with the full line up set to follow shortly.
Homecoming festival takes place between May 2nd – 3rd.
