Cover your ears – Canadian synth-punk group Holy Fuck are set to play a venue near you.
Renowned as one of the most intense electronic experiences on the planet, Holy Fuck’s live show features a vast array of vintage equipment being strangled to within an inch of their life. A cult phenomenon, a support slot with Oxford math-rockers Foals last year brought the band to a wider audience.
Formed in 2004, the band swiftly began work on their self-titled debut album. A critical success in their native Canada, Holy Fuck were the latest success story associated with the Dependent Music collective.
Second album ‘LP’ followed in 2007, with Holy Fuck gaining applause from overseas. Spawning the single ‘Lovely Allen’ it was the group’s first release on record label Young Turks.
The band are currently in the studio working on their new album, with material being kept strictly under wraps. However, fans may just get a sneak peak at the forthcoming release on the new tour dates.
