Holy F*ck, Le Tigre Are Touring Again!

ACTION STATIONS.

Seminal American three-piece Le Tigre will hit the road this summer.

The new shows represent the group’s first live run in 18 years, with Kathleen Hanna, JD Samson, and Johanna Fateman uniting once more. Le Tigre played a one off show for This Ain’t No Picnic festival last summer, but before then their final performance was in September 2005, at the Operation Ceasefire concert at Washington Monument in Washington DC, where they united with other artists to call for an end to the Iraq War.

In the meantime, Kathleen Hanna has engaged in a plethora of activities, running Tees 4 Togo, touring with Bikini Kill, and writing a book.

Le Tigre were most recently in the news when a copyright claim was lodged against the lyrics of their almighty banger ‘Deceptacon’ – the case was swiftly resolved.

So, those all-important UK shows. The re-union kicks off in North America, before hitting London’s Troxy venue on June 3rd. Le Tigre play Manchester’s Albert Hall on June 5th, while a date at Glasgow’s famed Barrowland Ballroom follows on June 6th.
