Celebrated American group The Hold Steady have added four dates to their upcoming UK tour.
Led by Craig Ginn, The Hold Steady’s mixture of punk fury, Springsteen’s bluster and Ginn’s near literary approach to lyric writing have made the band firm favourites with music fans.
Last year’s album ‘Stay Positive’ was a case in point. From lead single ‘Sequestered In Memphis’ to the album’s final note the whole record seemed effortless, becoming The Hold Steady’s first Top 20 album in the UK.
The group announced a UK tour earlier this year, but due to demand have been forced to add four extra headline dates taking in Leeds, Cambridge, Falmouth and Bristol.
