Heavy Showers Predicted For Glastonbury

Festival could open to rain...

It's that time of year again…

Already an army of fans are making their way towards Worthy Farm, with Glastonbury set to swing into action tomorrow morning (June 25th).

The festival is one of the true highlights of the summer, but weather always has a part to play. Sure, last year may have witnessed a week of glorious sunshine, but memories of muddy conditions still remain.

The Met Office is keeping close tabs on the site, with their current five day forecast indicating that the festival could open to heavy showers.

Thursday (June 26th) will peak at 20 degrees Celsius, with some light showers predicted. Friday (June 27th) could well see the situation spiral, with heavy rain set to kick off around 10am and continue through to evening.

Winds will reach 20mph, with temperatures set to linger around 16 degrees Celsius.

So: best pack a poncho, then.

Glastonbury runs between June 25th – 29th. Clash will be running daily updates – check back for mud splattered musings!
