The boffins behind the celebrated Wood and Truck festivals has joined forces to launch the new Harvest event – with power pop wonders The Magic Numbers set to headline.
Set in a meadow not far from the centre of the historic city of Oxford, Harvest promises to be a wonderful celebration of music and nature, with walks around the countryside planned alongside craft exhibits and workshops.
A homely festival, Harvest doesn’t have a camping area, instead encouraging festival goers to sleep comfortably in their own bed – an intoxicating thought to anyone who’s been stuck in a tent during the British monsoon season!
Amongst the acts set to play the Harvest event are The Magic Numbers, and local Oxford group Danny & The Champions Of The World. Other musical events include a special Western Swing workshop with Hot Club of Cowtown and an appearance bt Coute Diomboulu featuring Jali Fily Cissokho.
With a nearby farmhouse serving food and drink, and Wheat Beer on tap, Harvest looks to be a very special event.
Harvest is set to take place in Oxford on September 13th & 14th.
