A vivid talent, Grouper – real name Liz Harris – returned earlier this year with her spell-binding new album ‘Ruins’.
A work of hushed intensity, ‘Ruins’ was rewarded with enormous critical acclaim – so much so that Clash writer Alex Robert Ross was prompted to ask if it was 2014’s only truly classic album.
Setting out plans for 2015, Liz Harris has confirmed details of a short European tour. Dates include visits to Copenhagen, Bergen and Gent, with the American artist outlining plans for a one off London show.
Part of the St. John Sessions, Grouper will perform in St. John of Hackney Church on April 23rd. Tickets are on sale now.
