The Southbank Centre and Grace Jones have revealed the final acts for this year’s Meltdown festival, set to run from June 10th to June 19th, 2022.
Following two years of cancelled plans, Grace Jones brings forward an exciting line-up filled with talents from near and far. Across the festival, there will be performances by Greentea Peng, Dry Cleaning, Eska, Alewya, Josey Rebelle, and Cktrl, who will perform with the London Contemporary Orchestra. Furthermore, Hot Chip, Angélique Kidjo, Kasai Allstars, and Sky Ferreira are also to hit the stage.
Alongside the exciting musical performances is a free public programme jampacked with exciting events inspired by Grace Jones's plethora of creative interests.
Numerous fun events planned alongside the festival include a roller skating party, a reggae Soundsystem sound clash, a public catwalk in collaboration with Africa Fashion Week London (with the possibility to win prizes), and a hula-hooping masterclass. More activities as scheduled to be added to the programme.
Tickets go on sale on Wednesday (April 13th) at 10 am via the Southbank Centre website.
