The ever intriguing and as always unmissable Green Man festival has announced an exciting new competition, which allows one lucky band the chance to open the event.
Set in Wales, Green Man gathers some of the best acoustic, folk and indie talent around. This year boasts a line up that includes everyone from current indie sensations Los Campesinos! to an exclusive festival set by reformed folk supergroup Pentangle.
The event has always championed new and emerging talent, and is pleased to offer one lucky signed or unsigned band the opportunity to open the festival. To enter, bands must register on the Green Man official site and then upload an mp3 or video of themselves performing. The public will vote on the band they like best, and those who vote will be entered into a competition for free tickets. The band which collects the most votes will open the festival and get a number of free tickets.
The Green Man festival takes place in Glanusk Park, Wales between August 15th – 17th.
