Spiky indie-pop newcomers Golden Silvers are set to kick off their UK tour tonight in Liverpool, and will then go on to play ten UK dates.
The hotly-tipped trio are set to release their new single ‘True Romance’ on 20th April, before their debut of the same name lands just a week later.
Recorded with Crystal Castles cohort Lexxx, the bands debut is set to be a dancefloor-friendly take on their previous live assaults, that saw them mixing their influences of early Blur, Squeeze and shades of Prince.
Hand picked by Esser for one of his tips for ’09 on Clash Music (get his full lowdown here), Golden Silvers have also been busy touring the globe, finding themselves jamming in Mexico and Japan recently.
