Gold Panda UK Tour Dates

'Lucky Shiner' live show unveiled

London based producer Gold Panda is set to take his acclaimed ‘Lucky Shiner’ album on the road.

2010 has seen a glut of stunning electronic releases, with everyone from Four Tet to Flying Lotus delivering big hitters. A year dominated by heavyweights, newcomer Gold Panda is aiming to make his name.

Released via his own NoTown imprint, debut album ‘Lucky Shiner’ is a remarkable achievement. Given warm critical reviews, Gold Panda mixes Eastern mysticism with a very Western sense of melancholy.

At times recalling Keiren Hebden, Gold Panda’s output has become a cult success. Buoyed by internet hype, ‘Lucky Shiner’ has taken on a life of its own outlasting the usual lifespan for a blog hit.

Set to gain an official release on October 11th, ‘Lucky Shiner’ will be followed by Gold Panda’s first full UK tour.

Confirming a number of dates, Gold Panda is ready to unveil his live show. Taking the looped clarity of ‘Lucky Shiner’ one step further, the improvisational nature of the performance means that every night is different.

Extending passages into remarkable tunnels of sound, expect to hear ‘Lucky Shiner’ pulled inside out on a near daily basis.

Opening in Brighton on November 11th, other dates include performances in Manchester, Glasgow, London and more. Finishing in Norwich on November 20th, support will come from Banjo Or Freakout.

Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday (October 1st).
