Acclaimed post rock heroes Godspeed You! Black Emperor are to curate this year’s instalment of Nightmare Before Christmas.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, All Tomorrows Parties have arranged a series of monumental parties. The festival has grown to include multiple events, including the alternative festive party ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’.
This year the Yuletime bash is due to be curated by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Post rock heroes, the band’s output has continually pushed back the boundaries of what sounds guitars are actually capable of making.
Having played All Tomorrows Parties several times Godspeed You! Black Emperor are perfectly placed to curate the festival. Tackling ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ the event is set to take place between December 3rd – 5th.
ATP Founder Barry Hogan: “Godspeed performed at the Bowlie Weekender as well as at some our early ATP festivals, and so we are very proud to have one of our favourite bands back after a long break to conclude our 10th anniversary.”
In total, Nightmare Before Christmas will feature a total of forty acts hand picked by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The band will perform themselves, representing their first official outing in almost a decade.
