Montreal's journey from powerhouse port to post-industrial success story has prompted an explosive growth in the city's creative community.
A host of festivals have grown up around this, with POP Montreal providing some of the area's most eclectic and rewarding bills.
Returning this September, POP Montreal have named the first acts on their 2015 line up. Giorgio Moroder is set to play in an historic church, while British industrial legends Godflesh will touch down on Canadian soil for the first time.
Babes In Toyland will play a no doubt special show, while Built To Spill, Couer de Pirate and more have been named. Typically broad, soul legend Barbara Lynn is due to appear at POP Montreal as part of the Ponderosa Stomp Revue.
Tickets go on sale from 9am on May 8th.
POP Montreal runs between September 16th – 20th.
