The celebrated Big Chill festival is set to return this summer with a bumper line up including new additions Beth Orton and French star Camille.
This year’s Big Chill looks to be one of the musical events of the summer with a frankly astonishing bill featuring Canadian legend Leonard Cohen, African all-stars Orchestra Boabab and a host of special features. The comedy tent will be headlined by the surreal stylings of The Mighty Boosh, fresh from airing their third TV series and with DVD sales going through the roof. Elsewhere in the comedy tent festival goers will be entertained by Bill Bailey, Adam Buxton and Simon Day.
Also on site is a special “ICA Presents” event, featuring a unique collaboration between dub innovator Lee “Scratch” Perry and UK world music icon Adrian Sherwood.
The Big Chill is one of the UK’s most eclectic and welcoming festivals, and with a bumper bill this year it looks like a must-see event.
The Bill Chill takes place in Eastnor Castle Deer Park, Herefordshire, August 1st – 3rd.
